Every year, the Brahma Kumaris Sola melo for Shivratrihas become famous and people from all walks of life come to see the diversely sculpted Shivlingsthat are created. The Shivratimelo attracts over 5000-6000 peopleand everyone who attends gets an opportunity to learn about the benefits of meditation.
In 2018, the Brahma Kumaris Sola centre organized their first mega event (7day Geeta Ka Bhagwan shibir) which was attended by 3000 people daily. In 2024, a second mega event, a nine-day Happiness Programme- ALVIDA TANAV attracted over 3500 people daily.
Today, the Brahma Kumaris Sola Centre serves 6000 to 10,000 souls annuallyand has a regular class of 350 studentswho attend various activities at the Sola Centre, the sub centres and the geetapathshalas. With these growing activities, the centre had now outgrown their rented premises.
From July 2024, The Brahma Kumaris Sola Centre has moved to the newly constructed Meditation Hub which has been intentionally and thoughtfully created to provide the experience of meditation and spirituality for all people in the Science City area.

This Sola branch of the Brahma Kumaris falls under Mahadevnagar sub-zone of Ahmedabad which is overseen by BK Chandrika Didiwho also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Youth Wing and the Chairperson of the Art and Culture Wing. The headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris are located in Mount Abu
Our Future Plans
The Divya Nagri
The Divya Nagri project is an initiative by the Brahma Kumaris across India. The ‘Divya-Nagri’undertakes to target the slums and shanties and attempts to bring qualitative reforms by practically educating themin cleanliness, education, adult literacy, skills training, educational excursions, celebration of festivals etc. The project is running successfully in 21 cities of India
We wish to launch this project for the slum areas around Science Cityas part of our future plans
Mind Spa
We want to make use of biofeedback and brain wave technology to help people to creatively, spiritually and scientificallyexplore the depths oftheir minds. We live in a digital age and using technology we can support young adults to explore ancient practices like meditation.We hope to develop such a mind spa in the future.
